Two Highly Qualified Opponents With Significant Trial Experience
James Hanlon has 31 years of experience and is a former judge. Steven Kozicki has 32 years of experience and has been a prosecutor, a public defender, a law firm partner, and a solo practitioner. They have both tried a significant number of jury trials. In most jurisdictions in the country this would probably make them “over-qualified” since there are so many judges who are lucky to have ever tried a case at all. Many of those types of judges never practiced law in a courtroom. These two candidates are not those types of judges.
